Real Kakamora 1 – Koloale 1

On the bench, Real Kakamora, were featuring a new coach in former youth and senior international, Eddie Rukumana. Rukumana, replaces Sam Wa’aria who is taking time off from coaching after a successful season with the club last season.
Albert Samani Jnr. gave Koloale an early lead but the match evened out into a dull affair with neither side gaining any significant control. Koloale tried to extend their lead in the first half but without Atana Fa’arodo, they were not able to breach the Real Kakamora defence again in the game.
Koloale were seemingly headed for their first win of the season but Real Kakamora mounted a strong come back in the final stages of the game and several times went close to scoring but could not find the target under pressure.
Nate broke the drought for Real Kakamora after a clearance from the Koloale backline fell kindly for him and the midfielder chopped the ball midair to beat Jessy Mae for the equaliser.
Koloale will play FC Guadalcanal in their match in the Telekom S-League while Real Kakamora who are bye this round will take weekend off.
