The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF), on behalf of President Donald Marahare and the Executive Committee, wishes to express our deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences upon hearing of the passing of the Late Donald Bennett.
The Late Donald Bennett was a distinguished figure in our football community. He proudly represented the Solomon Islands as a national player during the late 1980s and early 1990s, wearing our national colours with pride and dedication.
Following his playing career, he continued to contribute to the beautiful game as a coach. He was a highly respected figure in the Munda region of Western Province, where his strong presence and commitment helped develop and inspire countless players and football enthusiasts in the community.
His contribution to football in the Solomon Islands, both on the national stage and at the grassroots level in the West, will be fondly remembered and deeply appreciated.
On behalf of the entire SIFF family, we extend our sincere sympathies to his family, friends, and the football community in Munda and Western Province during this time of mourning.
