Koloale 1 – Real Kakamora 1

Real Kakamora were on course for a victory after they set up with a goal from Alwin Kini ten minutes before the break but Koloale rebounded to claim a share of the spoils.
The result, however, will be more satisfying for Peter Konata than Gideon Omokirio whose Koloale now slip four points behind the league leaders, Solomon Warriors who defeated Hana 5-2 earlier in the day.
Koloale had on the pitch the bulk of its top performers but could not spark against a Real Kakamora side determined to overcome their forgettable first round. This saw the match pan out rather evenly thought there were moments were Koloale could have gotten the lead.
Real Kakamora found their way through in the 36th minute when Dickson Maggi won a tackle and recovered quickly to advance towards the Koloale goal. His through pass found the already on run Kini who beat two Koloale defenders to the ball before hammering it past Michael Meke.
The minnows continued pressuring Koloale in the second half but a moment of overzealousness saw the giants bite back. Luwi was unmarked outside the Real Kakamora penalty box in a counterattack and he curled his shot past the goalkeeper and into the bottom far corner for the equaliser.
The only other notable scoring chance of the second half was from Real Kakamora substitute Sam Bino who went after a through pass but gave too much to his first touch and sent the ball into the hands Meke.
