Solomon Warriors 5 – Real Kakamora 0

The defending champions went clear after 15 minutes when repeated attempts to clear the ball failed and Micah Lea’alafa stepped into to punish the Real Kakamora defenders for their blunder.
The lead was extended in the 27th minute when Dennis Ifunaoa added the second and his twelfth goal of the season giving Solomon Warriors a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Real Kakamora came out fighting in the second half but while they could play freely in the middle of the field closing in on the Solomon Warriors goal was a tough task for their strikers. Solomon Warriors were superbly organised at the back and calmly dealt with any situation that arose.
Solomon Warriors were up three nil in the 55th minute when Jerry Donga finished courtesy of a neat cross from Ifunaoa. The fourth came within ten minutes from Ifunaoa and Gagame Feni made it 5-0 six minutes before fulltime.
It was apparent as the match proceeded that the pace of the Solomon Warriors forwards was too much for the Real Kakamora defenders. Often Lea’alafa and Ifunaoa would race past the defenders with ease and Santus Kabini, the Real Kakamora, goalkeeper would be forced to come out and make the save.
Solomon Warriors have been formidable this season with a record of eight wins, three draws and zero losses giving a points haul of 27 points.
