Real Kakamora 0 – Western United 8

Judd Molea, Benjamin Totori, Abraham Maezama and Abraham Iniga also got on the scoresheet as they overran their opponents who had little to string up against Commins Menapi’s list of stars.
The floodgates opened after just a minute from kick off when Feni found space on the right and squeezed his shot past Peter Kiriau. The lead was extended midway through the first half after Joe Luwi scored a spectacular effort.
While it was only a 2-0 lead for Western United at the break, proceedings went further south for Real Kakamora, who lacked their key players in the midfield. Western United returned much better organised and topped up their tally with another six goals in the second half.
Feni got his second five minutes after the restart and Totori got in on the action with a strike from outside the 18 yard box after a disappointing first half. The rout was completed with Luwi adding his second and then Molea, Maezama and Iniga grabbing one apiece to make it 8-0.
The final whistle could not come soon enough for Real Kakamora who last weekend went down in similar fashion to a new look Marist outfit. After a strong performance from the club last season, fans may begin to wonder about the strength of Real Kakamora.
Whether Western United maintain pole position for the round depends on the outcome of the Solomon Warriors and KOSSA clash. A win for Solomon Warriors would see them regain leadership while any other result will see Western United stay on to courtesy of a superior goal difference.
