FIFA equips badge holders

Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) chief executive officer, Neil Poloso, and referee development officer, Justin Mutukera, were on hand to present the FIFA gear to the referees at the federation headquarters in Honiara.
The gear includes refereeing uniforms, yellow and red cards, and boots and shoes for football and futsal referees. Beach soccer referees are only issued uniforms and cards.
Poloso praised FIFA for continuing to support referees in Solomon Islands encourages the referees to utilise the gear in local matches.
“We thank FIFA for their continued support for football development in Solomon Islands and this particular support for our referees,” Poloso says.
“Our referees must also take note that this equipment is not a free gift but it comes with a responsibility for them to uphold FIFA’s high standards in their practice and continue to support football development in Solomon Islands.”
Solomon Islands’ FIFA listed referees for 2016 are:
• Referee – Men: Nelson Sogo, Honiara
• Referee – Men: George Time, Honiara
• Assistant Referee – Men: Johnny Erick, Tingoa, Rennell Bellona
• Assistant Referee – Men: Douglas Mete, Auki, Malaita
• Assistant Referee – Men: Bernard Mutukera, Honiara
• Assistant Referee – Men: Stephen Seniga, Buala, Isabel
• Assistant Referee – Men: Jeffrey Solodia, Auki, Malaita
• Beach Soccer Referee – Men: Simon Kwaimani, Honiara
• Beach Soccer Referee – Men: Hugo Pado, Honiara
• Futsal Referee – Men: Rex Kamusu, Honiara
• Futsal Referee – Men: Philip Mana, Honiara
• Futsal Referee – Men: Francis Loxie Roni, Guadalcanal
