Real Kakamora 1 – X-Beam 3

While X-Beam are still building up a presence in the S-League their line-up is arguably one of the best and features some of the top players in the country. Former Koloale coach, Peter Eke, certainly had the right plan for his player today since they delivered in a big way on the pitch against an unpredictable Real Kakamora side.
Just before the quarter hour mark X-Beam were on their way with Kidston Billy scoring from outside the 18 yard box after pushing past the Real Kakamora offside trap. The experience Billy saw the goalkeeper’s position and sent his shot to bottom corner of the far post.
Billy’s goal was cancelled seven minutes before the break by Real Kakamora midfielder, Jeff Kuper, who expertly curled a shot over the X-Beam goalkeeper ensuring that his team remained in the race.
X-Beam were more aggressive in their search for goals in the second half and they were successful twice before the final whistle. Defender Arnold Keni scored their second goal from a corner kick just after the break. More hard work up front returned another goal, this time it was former KOSSA playmaker, Franco Ne’e, who finished with a header.
With this win X-Beam now move up to the fourth spot in the 2013 Telekom S-League ladder and Real Kakamora maintain their position behind leaders Solomon Warriors.
