Solomon Warriors 4 – KOSSA 3

KOSSA raced off to a 3-nil lead after just 26 minutes leaving Solomon Warriors speechless. Hudson Felani opened for KOSSA in the 5th minute from a rebound and George Suri added the second a quarter of an hour later. Suri then extended KOSSA’s lead with his second before the half hour mark.
However, the Solomon Warriors midfield rallied and within 10 minutes they were even with KOSSA. A goal each from Jerry Donga, Moffat Kilifa and Gagame Feni ensured that the first half ended evenly.
Solomon Warriors returned with intent in the second half and played with more purpose and organisation. However, KOSSA patiently repelled them until Donga broke through midway in the second half to give Solomon Warriors the winner.
Solomon Warriors will play Hana in their next match while KOSSA will meet Telekom S-League debutants X-Beam.
