Hana, Fire clash to open second TSL season

The match between the 2 sides who sat 6th and 7th in the league table last season will kick off at 4:00pm at Lawson Tama stadium. The match scheduled for 2:00pm, between Malaita Kingz and Real Kakamora, will not take place due to shipping problems for the Malaita based team. Their match has been rescheduled to Sunday 30th October after the O-League clash between Koloale and Auckland City.
Sunday 23 will feature another 2 exciting matches. The first for the day will be a gigantic tussle between Solomon Warriors and Koloale. This game is touted as Koloale’s final test before they take on Auckland City. KOSSA will play Western United in the second match.
The start of the league will break the long wait for fans who have been anticipating the promise of super football action after what the first season delivered. The competition this season is expected to be up a notch as most of the clubs now appearing more organised and determined. The long break has also provided ample preparation time.
Most of the clubs have played a number of friendly matches in the lead up to the kickoff tomorrow. Real Kakamora especially have been busy in the off season playing friendly matches against several other Telekom S-League clubs to finalise their squad for the second season. Koloale are also looking sharp as their build up for the O-League started quite early.
The first round of the Telekom S-League league series will end in December. The second round will begin February next year.
