VACANCY FOR MEMBER ASSOCIATION (MA) ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Member Association (MA) Administrative Officer. The MA Administrative Officer shall be responsible for the management and day-to-day administration of the provincial football association office with duties covering finance, communications, programme management and logistics.
The MA Administrative Officer reports to the MA Executive Committee and the SIFF Chief Executive Officer.
Key responsibilities include:
a) Be the principal point of contact between the SIFF administration and the MA office
b) Ensuring all procurement done by the MA is in accordance with the FIFA Forward Regulations, OFC
Development Grant Regulations, SIFF Development Grant Regulations, Financial Policy and other
regulations
c) Supporting the MA Executive Committee with the formulation of the annual budget and activity plan of
the MA and executing these activities
d) Maintaining a suitable filing system for the MA office
e) Managing the receipt, disbursement and reporting of funds in accordance with the SIFF Development
Grant Regulations and communicating with the SIFF Finance Manager regularly on matters of finance
f) Coordinating with the relevant SIFF Departments to make local arrangements for courses, competitions and other activities
g) Reporting on the activities of the MA office
h) Preparing the annual activity report and acquittal report of the MA office
i) Any additional tasks required by MA Executive Committee and the SIFF Chief Executive Officer which
are reasonably within the scope of the overall responsibilities of the position including but not limited
to preparing applications for MA’s SIFF Development Grants and MA Team Funds
Compliance Responsibilities:
- Ensuring full compliance with financial aspects of the FIFA Forward Regulations, the OFC Development Grant Regulations, SIFF Development Grant Regulations and other applicable funding regulations
- Ensuring all procurement exercises are done in accordance with SIFF financial and procurement policies
Qualifications:
- A certificate or diploma in business management or similar qualification in accountancy or administration from a recognized tertiary institution
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position
- Good communication skills
- High level of computer proficiency especially with Microsoft or similar office productivity software
- Valid driver’s licence but no essential
- Applicant must be based in the Province that he/she is intending to take up this position
