SIFF S-LEAGUE 2026 SEASON SET TO KICK OFF IN JUNE

The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has officially announced the return of the SIFF Super League for the 2026 season, kicking off in June with only ten (10) teams.

Following a comprehensive review of the 2025 campaign, the S league board has decided to reduce the number of participating teams from 12 to 10. Notably, FC Juniper Tree and Waneagu United FC will not feature in the 2026 season. According to the S-League board, both clubs have been penalized for non-compliance due to the non-payment of registration fees for the 2025 season.

The board confirmed that this decision aligns with league regulations, ensuring all participating clubs meet their financial and administrative obligations. The remaining 10 clubs have been confirmed as fully compliant.

The confirmed 10 teams for the 2026 SIFF S League are:

  1. Central Coast FC
  2. Malaita Kingz FC
  3. Green Shield FC
  4. Honiara City FC
  5. KOSSA FC
  6. Marist FC
  7. SOSA FC
  8. Southern United FC
  9. Ghupo FC
  10. Laugu United FC

The league will run on a home-and-away format. An official full fixture list will be released in late May.
