National U-15 Girl’s Development Squad Departs for the OFC Under-15 Youth Development Tournament 2026 in Fiji

The National Under-15 Girl’s development football team departed yesterday afternoon for Lautoka, Fiji, where they will compete in the OFC U-15 Girl’s Youth Development Tournament 2026. The team, consisting of 16 players and 4 team officials, is eager to represent their country on the regional stage.

The tournament is part of a key youth development partnership between UEFA and the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), designed to provide young footballers with high-level competitive experience and technical exposure early in their development pathways. The initiative focuses on providing structured international exposure for emerging players, referees, coaches and support staff

“This is a tremendous opportunity for our young athletes to gain international experience and grow both on and off the field,” said Priscillar Tariga, SIFF Women’s Development Officer. “Thanks to the UEFA-OFC partnership, our girls will compete in a structured, supportive environment that prioritises long-term development as much as results.”

The squad departed in high spirits yesterday afternoon and arrived in Lautoka ahead of the tournament’s opening matches later this week.

The Football Federation extends its gratitude to UEFA, OFC, and all sponsors and supporters who have made this tour possible.
