KOSSA 4 – Marist Fire 1

The opening half an hour was an even fight between the 2 clubs as they jostled for control in the midfield while supporting their game with compact defensive positioning. KOSSA registered their first goal in the 38th minute with a clever goal from Harrison Mala.
The second half saw more open football from both sides as they tried more attacking along the wings but once again KOSSA came out on top and added their second as Hudson Felani moved up from the back to find the back of the net.
Further damage came within 7 minutes when Paul Wale took KOSSA’s lead to 3-0 but Abraham Iniga reduced the deficit with what proved to be Marist Fire’s only goal of the game. Any fight back from Marist Fire was quelled when Leslie Wate added KOSSA’s fourth of the game to wrap up a memorable win for his club.
