KOSSA 6 – Hana 2

This is KOSSA’s second win in less than a week following their 4-3 win over X-Beam on Wednesday which set them up for this big leap in the standings. It was another win for coach Jacob Moli who finally seeing his players rise to the occasion.
“My side is composed mostly of young players but I am starting to see them understand themselves better and how they fit into our game plan,” Moli says.
KOSSA took off to a 3-nil lead in the opening twenty minutes with Naka scoring in the 9th and then Harrison Mala and Jimmy Raramane adding in the 11th and 20th minute respectively.
Naka struck again just before halftime for a 4-nil scoreline and this put KOSSA in very strong position against the opposition who had the capacity to turn the game over in the second half.
Guinean, Moussa Korouma, led the Hana reply in the second half with his goal in the 50th minute – his fourth in as many matches. Joachim Rande then added Hana’s second five minutes later to cut the deficit down to a two goals.
As Hana worked for the equaliser KOSSA once again regrouped and added another three goals to seal the game and all the points available. Naka made it 5-2 in the 81st minute before Harrison Mala wrapped the win with his contribution in the 83rd minute.
