KOSSA 2 – Hana 3

The 3 points Hana won gave them the lift to overtake KOSSA in the table but it was only enough to take them to 6th in the league ladder. For KOSSA, however, it meant another dip in their campaign and they slip back to the 7th position.
Signs that the stars were in favour of Hana came early as Trevor Suinao grabbed the leader for his side after 11 minutes of play. The lead was doubled in the 31st minute when Tony Otini finished off a good run for Hana with an easy tap past the KOSSA goalkeeper to put his club in a good position at halftime.
KOSSA’s return in the second half was fruitfull, at least in its opening stages, and they equalised within 4 minutes of the restart. Harrison Mala made it 2-1 with a trademark fast goal in the 48th minute and just a minute later they were level with Hana after David Ramosaea scored the equaliser.
However, within 10 minutes of KOSSA equalising Hana regained the lead with Godwin Bebeu finishing for Hana from close range. KOSSA had a golden opportunity to equalise again when a penalty was awarded to them but Paul Wale sent his shot straight to the goalkeeper.
