1′ Ba has controlled the opening minute of the match as Solomon Warriors sit back and wait for them to reveal their game plan.
2′ Sam Ayers breaks free on the far side and crosses for Kidston Billy but the forward handles the ball and the referee signals a foul.
3′ Avinesh Suwamy tries his luck from distance for Ba but it goes wide.
4′ Yellow card: Brian Kaltack is given a yellow card for a poor tackle. A free kick is awarded.
5′ Goal Solomon Warriors 0 – Ba 1: Sanni Issa connects with the free kick and his header gives the lead to the visiting side.
7′ Ayers shoots from distance and forces Ratu Jone to make a good save.
11′ Micah Lea’alafa breaks past his marker on the far side and drives into the Ba penalty box but makes the decision to shoot and Jone blocks his attempt out. Solomon Warriors win a corner kick though.
12′ Kaltack meets the cross but his header is wide.
13′ Ayers misses an opportunity right in front of goal after a cross from Lea’alafa finds him unmarked inside the Ba 6-yard box.
15′ Issa crosses for Tuimasi Manuca of Ba and the midfielder shoots but he is off target.
19′ Ayers is flagged offside on the far side as he tries to make a run for a through pass that would have put him in a one on one with the Ba goalkeeper.
20′ Goal Solomon Warriors 0 – Ba 2: Issa makes it 2 nil in favour of Ba after confusion in the Solomon Warriors penalty box allows him to pick up the loose ball and send it past Eddie Newman for his second of the afternoon.
22′ Solomon Warriors win a corner kick but the cross from Judd Molea is cleared.
25′ Once again Solomon Warriors do not make full use of a corner kick as the header from Kaltack goes wide.
32’ Goal Solomon Warriors 1 – Ba 2: Solomon Warriors get one back through Kidston Billy who was set up by some lovely footwork from Jeffery Bule which freed the forward behind the Ba defence line.
35’ Solomon Warriors’ Lea’alafa wins a corner kick and Molea lines up cross but the Ba backline manage to make a clearance.
38’ Ba get a chance through a corner kick and Scott Gannon goes to take the kick but play is held as Manuca is given some medical attention.
39’ The kick is finally take but Newman plucks the ball to safety.
42’ Solomon Warriors players appeal for a penalty kick after Billy was brought down in the penalty box but the referee ruled in favour of the Ba defender who actually cleared the ball in the incident.
43’ An acrobatic effort from Malakai Tiva is off the mark.
45’ Additional time of 3 minutes is indicated.
45’ + 2’ Ayers is free past his marker and he turns for the Ba goal but his shot misses by a couple of feet.
The first half comes to an end.
46’ Jone is forced to a running save as Billy sends a through pass for the running Gibson Daudau
50’ Solomon Warriors are the dominant force in the opening five minutes of the second half as Ba find themselves pinned in their own half
51’ Ayers, who is quickly gaining a reputation as Solomon Warriors’ danger man, crosses for Billy in the box but puts too much pressure on the effort and it sails across the face of goal without anyone getting on the end of it
52’ Substitution: Ba’s Manuca is replaced by Ronil Kumar
55’ Ba’s players are starting to feel the effect of the afternoon sun as several call for medical attention
57’ Molea crosses in a corner kick but Jone punches away and the follow up effort from Lea’alafa is too high
58’ Substitution: Ayers is replaced by Jerry Donga for Solomon Warriors
59’ Suwamy’s corner kick is headed in by Tiva but Newman saves
61’ Suwamy tries his luck from 40 yards out but it is off the mark
62’ Gannon’s corner kick is met by Tiva but his header is just a bit too high
67′ Daudau is almost free for goal behind a through pass but Jone quickly comes out to clear before the attacker could get to it
