FIFA Futbol Mundial team in Honiara

The team is led by Sep Cipriano, an experienced journalist who has covered many football events and stories throughout the world for the Futbol Mundial weekly TV magazine program.
Accompanying Cipriano is an Australia cameraman, Drew Llewelyn, who will be filming the footage for the story that the team is documenting.
The Futbol Mundial team will spend 4 days in the capital filming football matches and interviewing football players, coaches and also officials from the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF).
Less than an hour after arriving, the team was already at work at Lawson Tama filming the Honiara Football Association (HFA) Top 10 match between Junior Flamingo and Marist.
Tomorrow the team will be visiting the SIFF headquarters and will be speaking with representatives of the football mother body including the President Martin Alufurai and General Secretary, Eddie Ngava.
Later in the afternoon a session with local O-League representatives, Koloale, will be held at their training ground where the team will be hoping to speak with 2 of the country’s top players, Benjamin Totori and Henry Fa’arodo Jnr.
The team will also visit the national beach soccer team and national futsal team at their training sessions.
Further interviews with local coaches and players will be conducted by the team on Thursday.
They will leave the country on Friday.
FIFA Futbol Mundial has previously worked in the pacific where they conducted filming in Fiji, Tahiti and Papua New Guinea.
