Taiwan assists S-League clubs

The consignment of balls was handed over to Telekom S-League Chairman Aloysio Ma’ahanoa on Sunday during the Taiwanese navy public show held at Lawson Tama.
The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has started distributing the balls to the clubs with each club receiving 7 balls at their training grounds yesterday afternoon.
SIFF General Secretary, Eddie Ngava, thanks the government of Taiwan for their support to the Telekom S-League and says that he looks forward to closer cooperation with them in the future.
“I would like to thank the government of Taiwan for assisting football once again. The assistance that we receive has been channelled to the TSL clubs in the interest of developing our national soccer league,” Ngava says.
Rex Masuaku of Hana Football Club expressed appreciation to Taiwan saying that their assistance is timely as clubs prepare for the second round the of the TSL.
“Most clubs are using worn out balls from the first round for training so I think this donation has come at the right time. I want to say thank you to Taiwan and hope that they continue supporting football in the future,” Masuaku says.
Last year Taiwan donated 200 balls which were given to the SIFF Provincial Football Associations.
