O-League clash coming live on TV

This was confirmed by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) media department today in an email after agreeing with Our Telekom to broadcast the match via their subsidiary Telekom TV. All filming and commentaries will be conducted by the OFC TV crew at Kiwitea Street where City’s home ground is.
The match will be aired at 1300hrs local time which is 2 hours before the kickoff of the catch-up match between Western United and Hana. Viewers from Honiara, Auki, Gizo and possibly Noro will have the opportunity to witness the match live courtesy of Our Telekom on their TV screens and follow updates from the other O-League matches that will be taking place this weekend.
Meanwhile, Koloale arrived in Auckland early this morning and they have set up their base camp at the OFC academy complex. They will hold their only training session this evening as the team management wanted the team to have some rest after their 7-hour journey.
The OFC website reports that Auckland is expecting an influx of Solomon Islanders as they travel from all over New Zealand to support Koloale. The support will come in handy for the ‘men in green’ who are still looking for their first points this season.
Koloale will face an Auckland City side full of confidence after a 6-0 dismantling of YoungHeart Manawatu in the ASB Premiership but coach Ramon Tribulietx does not have a full squad to select from as long-time No 1 goalkeeper Jacob Spoonley is recovering from a knee injury and Argentine Emiliano Tade, City’s top-scorer in the national league, is on compassionate leave after a family illness.
Three (3) other O-League matches are taking place this weekend. In Group A, Tefana are hosting Waitakere United in Tahiti while Fiji’s Ba take on Mont Dore away. The other Group B match sees Hekari United at home against Amicale.
