Western United. Hana clash called off

The match between Hana and Western United scheduled for 4:00pm this afternoon at Lawson Tama had to be called off due to bad weather.
Rain was already pouring when the match kicked off but nobody anticipated the heavy downpour that followed 20 minutes after kickoff. The surface at Lawson Tama was able to deal with the lighter rain but it took less than 5 minutes for the pitch to become flooded when the sky opened up.
The match referee consulted with the match commissioner and the Telekom S-League manager and eventually a decision was made to call the game off and reschedule it. A new time and date for the match is yet to be determined.
This brings the total of catch-up matches in the first round of the Telekom S-League to four. A meeting will be held tomorrow morning to make a decision on whether the catch-up fixtures will be played this week or delayed until February 2012.
Telekom S-League catch-up matches:
Real Kakamora v Solomon Warriors
Hana v Koloale
Koloale v Marist Fire
Western United v Hana
