Congratulations to Western Tomoko for defending their Youth Solomon Cup title with a 3-0 win against Guadalcanal hornets after the completion of the grand final today at Lawson Tama in Honiara.
Alfia Aunga completed his hat trick in the 50 minutes to put the game behind the junior hornets. Western also dominated the individual awards as goalkeeper Ederson Lamupio received the Golden glove award and Barie Limoko who was outstanding throughout the competition walked away with the player of the tournament award.
Temotu’s number 11 Jelma Lano finished the tournament as top scorer with 9 goals to win the Golden boot while Isabel scooped the FIFA Fair Play Award. 🇸🇧🏆
