Real Kakamora stun as Hana edge on

Defender, Chris Tafoa, set KOSSA up just after seven minutes with a blistering shot past Kevin Samani but, unfortunately, for his side that was the only time they found the back of the net in the game.
KOSSA’s lead survived the first half but the halftime talk offered by the Real Kakamora coach, Sam Wa’aria, clarified the mission for his players and within ten minutes after the break they equalised through Gordon Pato.
Things went further downhill for KOSSA when Tony Otini turned in a lovely shot past Laepeza Gina to take the lead for Real Kakamora in the 62nd minute. Pato struck again moments later and within the span off just over 10 minutes KOSSA’s grasp on the game was gone.
Paul Hiri then wrapped the win for Real Kakamora with a double strike late in the match to finish the day with his club’s biggest win in the competition so far.
On Tuesday Hana were made to work hard for a two-to-nothing win by a hopeful Malaita Kingz side intent on gaining something from their away fixture. The first half was played out nil all but Hana returned with purpose in the second half and secured the win.
Zahid Namo gave Hana the lead in the 51st minute before Solympics (Solomon Islands National Under-23 Team) selectee, Frank Foli, extended it to 2-0 with a breathtaking strike from outside the box that Leon Fox could do very little about.
The return ties continue this weekend as KOSSA play host to Real Kakamora at 2:00pm on Saturday and Malaita Kingz will see if they can overturn the deficit their deficit against Hana and steal through to the semi-finals in the 4:00pm fixture on the same day.
