SIFF Congress to be held this month

The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has announced that its annual congress will be held this month.
The notice for the congress was issued to the Provincial Football Associations (PFA) last week following the confirmation from the SIFF Executive Committee.
According to the SIFF General Secretary Eddie Ngava, the congress will be held in Honiara starting from 24th of September, 2010.
The first 2 days will be used for the development workshops which are aimed at reviewing the 2009-2012 SIFF development goals.
The sitting of the congress proper will be held on September 27th.
Each full member PFA of SIFF will send 2 representatives to attend the congress. PFAs under the administration of normalizing committees can only send 1 representative.
The SIFF Secretariat is currently working on organizing the accommodation and transport for the congress participants.
All Provincial Football Associations (PFAs) are urged to contact the SIFF Secretariat to confirm who will represent them and their preferred travel arrangements.
The last SIFF congress was held in Gizo in the Western Province. The current SIFF Executive Committee was appointed during that meeting.
