Mission far from over: Luwi

The forward who hails from Temotu Province in the eastern region of Solomon Islands claimed his second FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup goal on the back of some fancy footwork and a powerful drive. Nicholas Muri sealed the win for the Bilikiki with his strike midway through the final third for a 2-0 win.
“My goal gives me the encouragement but I am not satisfied until we achieve our objective for this competition,” says Luwi. “It was a great feeling to score but at this moment it is only a consolation – we are yet to reach our goal.”
“Right now I am focussed on the next match and that is against Argentina. We must not let our guard down,” says Luwi.
With three points now secured the Bilikiki need another win to give themselves some headroom as the competition starts to heat up in Tahiti. In the other Group B match Argentina defeated El Salvador and already the South Americans are looking like favourites for to qualify for the second round.
The Solomon Islands will meet Argentina at 1730pm on Saturday (Tahiti time).
