Telekom S-League defending champions Solomon Warriors wrap up round one of the country’s premier club competition with a comfortable 4-1 against debutants Honiara City today at Lawson Tama.
Cleophas Oriana opened the scoring in the first minute as Honiara City started the match on the front foot.
Dennis Ifunaoa scored twice to put the champions back in the lead before Vanuatu international John Alick added a third in the 41 minutes to extend their lead at the break.

Both teams return for the second half with the match well poised but Norman Winford put encounter out of reach of their opponents with a goal in the 48 minutes.
The win means Solomon Warriors end round one with 19 points in third place behind leaders Henderson Eels and Laugu United FC.
A mid-season break will start this weekend as the transfer window opens on Monday 26 October and closes on Saturday 7 November when round two of the 2020/2021 season resumes.
