Telekom S-League champions Solomon Warriors have named Micah Lea’alafa in their 25-man squad for round two of the country’s premier club competition.
Lea’alafa will reunite with his former club after his last stint with the Warriors in 2014 before moving on to join Amicale FC and Auckland City of Vanuatu and New Zealand.
The Solomon Islands international joined South Africa professional side Maritzburg United in July 2019 from New Zealand club Auckland City on a two-year contract before an injury cut short his stay with the team of choice.
Lea’alafa has been training with the champions since returning early this year but said he is not feeling 100 per cent yet to take on the pitch due to injury worries. Solomon Warriors coach Willie Omokirio is hoping Lea’alafa will play a major role in their title defence this season. #TSL#SLW
