Real Kakamora suffered another heavy defeat – this time to the hands of reigning Champions Solomon Warriors 6-0 in the midweek catch-up match today Wednesday 14 June, at Lawson Tama stadium.
Warriors head coach Franco Ne’e started the match giving some game time for most of his players in a starting line-up that includes the return of Jerry Donga, but were held to a goalless draw by a resolute Kakamora at the break.
A tactical turn of play saw Warriors open the goal galore deep into the second half.
“It doesn’t matter how many goals we scored. Getting those three points is what matters,” Coach Ne’e said after the match.
“We made a slow start to the game, I wanted to see how the young ones perform but the most important thing is getting the maximum points.
Kakamora lost their opening momentum to blow away their defense as Milton Taolo and Willie Daudau were on the mark and key substitutes Jaygray Sipakana and Tigi Molea were two goals apiece to move them into third with thirteen points – on goal difference advantage.
“We will continue to try to win all our games, we just have to stay really focused and go for it with all we have,” Ne’e maintains.
The loss for Kakamora marked their seventh straight defeat in the season as hope for a solution is much needed soon.
Warriors will take on FC Juniper Tree this Sunday 18 and Kakamora will be looking for some miracle against Henderson Eels on Saturday 17 in Match Week 8.
