Warriors back on top as Laugu United impressively back to winning ways

Defending TSL Champions Solomon Warriors retake the top spot-on Match Week 10 on goal difference after sharing points with Waneagu United 1-1 over the weekend and former leaders Honiara City upset by bottom side Southern United 3-0.

A lone goal from the experienced Moffat Kilifa early after kickoff seals all three points for Laugu United against Henderson Eels in a largely equally matched contest to move into the 7th spot behind Marist FC from two consecutive wins.

Central Coast registered their biggest win against struggling Real Kakamora and a catchup game at hand against Marist FC to remain third, a point behind the two leaders with an advantage to go top entering Match Week 11.

Coast and Marist FC will head-to-head midweek this Wednesday 5 July at 4 pm at the Lawson Tama stadium, as the Jacob Moli-led side will look to go top of the summit.
