Honiara City’s Spencer Vaeo was the star, netting twice in their 2-1 win over KOSSA FC.
Vaeo first scored from a penalty and added his second goal shortly after halftime. KOSSA FC fought back with a close-range header from captain Steve Koti, but Honiara City held firm to claim the win at full-time.

Central Coast FC, guided by interim national head coach Jacob Moli, triumphed 5-1 against Real Kakamora.
Despite Kakamora’s early lead through Clenty Lamupio, Central Coast responded with goals from Junior Fordney, Haydn Irodao, and two from Bobby Leslie.
Kakamora’s attempts to bounce back were thwarted by Central Coast’s solid defense and dominance.
“We came into this match as the second best. Central Coast made up of national players we knew it would be an uphill battle,” Kakamora’s Steve Aumanu said after the match.
“But we are a young team and progressing, we take out positives from this match and look to continue building ahead of our upcoming fixtures – it’s still a long way in the competition and we hope to be consistent with our current standing.
The match between Henderson Eels and Laugu United ended 2-1 in favor of Laugu United.
A mishap by Eels’ goalkeeper Michael Laulae gifted Charles Mani a goal, followed by a stunning strike from Richmond Ha’atarau.

Eels’ Timothy Bakale scored from the penalty spot but was later sent off for a dangerous tackle.
Despite the numerical advantage, Eels couldn’t equalize, and Laugu United secured the much-needed points.
These Match Week 7 results impact the standings, with Honiara City and Laugu United moving to the middle of the table, while Central Coast FC continues to showcase their strength in the top 3 standing.
