The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of National Teams Coordinator. Reporting through the Deputy Chief Executive Office, the position will play a major role in organizing and coordinating the logistical arrangements for all national teams participating in competitions or test matches locally and internationally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organise and book hotel or other accommodation for national teams locally and internationally
- Organise and book travel for national teams
- Identifying visa requirements and making the required applications
- Communicating with all relevant parties in a timely and professional manner to coordinate the flow of information, confirmation of travel and accommodation arrangements etc.
- Familiarize with the relevant competition regulations of OFC and FIFA and ensuring all requirements are complied with including deadlines, specialized requirements etc.
- Assisting team delegation with required travel documentation including but not limited to passports etc.
- Assist SIFF management with the identification and recruitment of head coaches, assistant coaches, team managers and other team staff
- Assist the team management and link with relevant SIFF departments to organize training and playing resources
- Assist the team management and link with relevant SIFF departments to organize financial and other resources
- Assist the team management with the retirement of financial resources made available to them
- Ensuring all procurement and related activities are conducted in accordance with FIFA Forward and other financial regulations
- Seek sponsorship from government agencies, business houses, and individuals for national teams
13. Any additional tasks required by CEO which are reasonable within the scope of the overall responsibilities of the position including but not limited preparing applications for team funds
Compliance Responsibilities:
- Ensuring full compliance with financial aspects of the FIFA Forward Regulations, the OFC Development Grant Regulations and other applicable funding regulations
- Ensuring all procurement exercises are done in accordance with SIFF financial and procurement policies

- Ability to think logically and manage high stress and pressure situations
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Proven ability to make complex and time-sensitive decisions in the best interests of the organization
- Have the ability to do multiple tasks at one given time
- Willing to work during weekends and on odd hours when called upon.
