Title: National U16 Women’s Assistant Head Coach Position
The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) is seeking for a dedicated and passionate individual for the position of National U16 Women’s Assistant Head Coach.
This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring youth coaches who wish to develop their coaching career and inspire the next generation of female footballers, fostering their development and success both at the national and international level.
Current National Women Premier League Club coaches are strongly encouraged to apply for the position or any other coach that has the passion and interest for women football development.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist the National U16 Women’s Head Coach to plan, organise and implement the tasks in the preparation and training of the national U16 Women’s team
- To assist the head coach to draw up training schedules for the team
- Assist the head coach to design and implement pre-match preparation training sessions and post-match recovery training sessions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs and potential of young female athletes.
- Mentor and guide players, emphasizing both technical skills and personal development.
- Serve as a role model and ambassador for women’s football, promoting the sport within the community.
- Reports to the head coach
Qualifications:
- Must possess a minimum of an MA Senior or youth coaching certificate.
- Proven experience and active as a Solrais Women’s Premier League club coach over the past three years from 2022 to 2024 league seasons.
- Demonstrated commitment to the development of women’s football.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Passion for mentoring young athletes and fostering a positive, inclusive team environment.
