The Telekom S-League board upon recommendation from Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) secretariat has agreed to delay the resumption of the 2020/2021 season which was initially proposed to kick-off this weekend.
The deferment of the recommencement of the league was made given the situation surrounding the ongoing standoff between Honiara City Council and SIFF regarding Lawson Tama Stadium and clubs preseason after the festive season as most players are still in the provinces.
The league’s board approved Saturday 23rd January 2021 as the date for the resumption of the TSL 2020/2021 season.
All matches scheduled for this weekend will be carried forward to January 23rd, 24th and 27th at Lawson Tama.
