The Telekom S-League (TSL) concluded its 2023/2024 season with a grand awards ceremony held at the SIFF Headquarters and Technical Center today, as teams and players were awarded for their achievements during the season.
The event also marked the end of an era, as Our Telekom bid farewell after 17 years of sponsorship, leaving a lasting legacy in Solomon Islands football.
This year’s ceremony had a special touch, as not only were the top three clubs rewarded, but every franchise received a consolation prize of SBD$ 10,000 in recognition of their commitment throughout the season.
For the second time, Central Coast FC were crowned champions, pocketing a cool SBD$200,000 for their triumph. Solomon Warriors secured the runner-up spot with SBD$170,000, while Real Kakamora made their first-ever podium finish, with SBD$130,000 as the third-placed team, rubbing shoulders with the league’s heavyweights.

On the individual front, Solomon Warriors’ veteran forward Dennis Ifunaoa claimed the prestigious Golden Boot with an impressive 27 goals to his name. Central Coast FC’s shot-stopper Philip Mango was awarded the Golden Glove for a stellar season, while Laugu United’s Thomas Lidoli walked away with the Fair Play Award. Central Coast’s goal machine, Bobby Leslie, capped off his brilliant campaign by winning the coveted Golden Ball as the league’s best player.
Central Coast FC head coach Jacob Moli was named Coach of the Year, cementing his side’s dominance in the season.
The match officials were also recognized, with FIFA Badge referee Ben Aukwai being named Referee of the Season, and Bernard Mutukera taking home the Assistant Referee of the Season award.
SIFF President Donald Marahare reassured all teams that club franchises continuously support and as the curtain closes on Telekom’s sponsorship, Marahare emphasized the federation’s ongoing commitment to growing the league, extending an invitation to potential new sponsors to support the country’s top-flight league football competition.
