Solomon Kings FC welcomes Solomon Islands Ports Authority as Inaugural Partner

SIFF President Donald Marahare and SIPA Board Chairman Moses Virivolomo shake hands after the signing.

The Solomon Kings Football Club is proud to announce the Solomon Islands Ports Authority (SIPA) as the club’s inaugural Club partner, marking the beginning of a new era for the Kings both on and off the field.

Under the partnership, the SIPA logo will feature proudly on the Solomon Kings’ playing shorts and official anthem jackets for the 2026 OFC Professional League — symbolising the strong alignment between two organisations committed to national development, impact, and excellence.

Speaking on the announcement, Donald Marahare, Chairman of Solomon Kings FC and President of Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF), said the partnership represents a historic milestone for the club:

“We are honoured to welcome the Solomon Islands Ports Authority as the inaugural partner of Solomon Kings Football Club. SIPA’s belief in our vision and commitment to supporting Solomon Islands football demonstrates the strength of collaboration between leading national institutions. We are proud to carry their logo on our kit as we take the next step in our journey.”

Mr. Moses Virivolomo, Chairman of SIPA Board, said the Authority was pleased to support the Solomon Kings FC in their mission to grow the game and create opportunities for Solomon Islanders through sport:

“SIPA is proud to partner with the Solomon Kings FC as their first official sponsor. This partnership reflects our ongoing investment in initiatives that inspire communities, empower youth, and showcase Solomon Islands talent on the regional and international stage.”

The announcement comes as Solomon Kings FC prepares for its first pre-season in December, leading into the club’s debut campaign in the new professional league commencing on 17 January 2026 at the Eden Park Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand. The agreement with SIPA establishes a strong commercial foundation for the Kings, supporting key areas of operation as the Club marks the beginning of a new chapter for football in the region. The Solomon Kings Football Club has been built on shared values, national pride, and a commitment to progress for the Solomon Islands.
