The inaugural SIFF International Junior Futsal Cup 2022 gets underway in Honiara tomorrow as four visiting teams from Just Futsal Foundation in Australia are set to compete against Solomon Islands youth teams selected from the Bulk Shop Junior Futsal League 2022.
Four teams from Australia under the Just Futsal Foundation arrived in the country today from Brisbane under the leadership of former Solomon Islands Kurukuru coach Vinicius Leite.
The visiting teams will compete in the U12, U14, U16, and U20 categories against the home teams.
The competition starts tomorrow Saturday 17th at 8:00 am and concludes with the finals on Tuesday 20th of December 2022 at the Friendship Futsal and outdoor multipurpose Hall in Honiara.
It is the first of its kind to be hosted in Honiara, it is made possible through SIFF and partnership with Just Futsal Foundation, SALT, and Bulk Shop.
