SALT FC are the new Champions of the SIFF President Futsal Cup.
In an electric atmosphere at Friendship Hall, SALT FC found themselves down 0-2 and had to fight hard to come back and win in the first five minutes of extra time against the impressive Futsal G.C.
Inspired by the likes of Alvin Hou, Raphael Le’ai and Robert Laua, SALT FC displayed quality fighting spirit and left an undisputed mark in the competition.
SALT FC’s victory marked the second consecutive year that Futsal G.C. had to settle for the runner-up position in the competition.
SIFF President Donald Marahare congratulated the winners while assuring the federation’s commitment for the overall development of the code through the competition.
