8 Solomon Islands FIFA badge referees received their accreditation for the year 2024 on Friday last week.
2 center referees, 3 assistant referees, 2 futsal referees, and a beach soccer referee received badges for the year, according to the list of Referees presented by FIFA.
The country’s first female center referee, Shama Mamae formally received her FIFA accreditation for the first time.
While presenting the badges, SIFF Referee Development Officer (RDO) Hamilton Siau congratulated the team, saying they are now qualified to officiate at FIFA international events and are entitled to put on the badges this year according to their official categories.
