Solomon Islands national head coach Felipe Vega-Arango is optimistic about a perfect test for the senior side for their two international friendlies next month in Asia.
The team will play Malaysia on June 14th and Singapore on June 18th and the Spaniard kept a positive chi knowing the intensity of the Asian challenge.
“Everything is ok. Despite not having much time because of the player’s commitment to their clubs in the TSL – sometimes it’s not easy because they play tough matches over the weekend and then with the national team, we have to do more on recovery and prevention,” Felipe said.
“I respect the clubs, so we only train two times a week and we are getting more intense in training everything was about how we can match up 1 on 1 because these two matches will be tough. But we have to be positive.
Felipe then confirmed that a traveling squad will be released next week before the team travels on June 10th.
