Mataks outclassed an experience G-Camp side in the final of the inaugural SIFF President’s Cup 2023 at the Friendship Hall in front of a jammed-pack crowd.
Inspired by the Mana brothers, Elis, Junior, and Benjamin alongside fellow Kurukuru trio Marlon Sia, Clifford Misitana, and goalkeeper Rodrick Afia, Mataks displayed high-quality futsal to beat G-Camp 9-2 in front of their adoring fans in the stands.
Elis led by example in scoring while Junior is the poacher Benjamin provided the speed up front which caused havoc for the likes of Kurukuru veterans George Stevenson, Coleman Makau, and Jeffery Bule in the G-Camp ranks.
