The National Futsal Team, Kurukuru, departed for the OFC Futsal Men’s Cup, scheduled to take place in Suva, Fiji, from September 20th to 24th, 2025.
This tournament will feature five OFC member associations: New Zealand, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tuvalu, and the host nation, Fiji. The competition will adopt a round robin format, allowing all teams to compete against one another, with the team accruing the highest points being crowned the champion.
Head Coach Dickson Kadau expressed his optimism as the team prepares to embark on this important journey. “Our squad consists of a blend of experienced former players and promising young talent. Our primary objective is to ready the team for the upcoming FIFA Futsal World Cup qualifier,” stated Kadau. He further urged the public to rally behind the team as they strive for success on the international stage.
