The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) is seeking suitably qualified and motivated persons to join the SIFF Audit & Compliance Committee.
The Audit & Compliance Committee is the most important monitoring body in terms of financial governance and adherence to financial regulations, rules and guidelines.
Its work is to advise, monitor and assess, and oversees the Executive and Other Football Committees, Member Associations, SIFF Administration with financial governance, risk assessment and compliance. This is to ensure that SIFF operates under the principles of accountability, responsibility, transparency and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Audit & Compliance Committee shall have the power to recommend sanctions and financial penalties on parties that in breach of financial regulations and rules within SIFF.
The SIFF Audit & Compliance Committee shall consist of five (5) members being led by the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson and shall serve a term of four (4) years. Membership of the committee is not a fulltime engagement nor employment; however, members shall be paid allowances as provided for under SIFF’s remuneration structure.
