The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) is looking for expression of interests for the position of:
- Men’s National team manager
- Men’s U19 National team manager
- Women’s National team manager
- Women’s U19 National team manager
- Futsal National team manager
- Beach Soccer National team manager
SIFF is also looking to hire qualified personal for the positions of Finance Manager, Competitions Director and Marketing Officer.
Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will be the head of the finance team to manage the day to day financial operations of the federation which include, but not be limited to:
- Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information,
- Reporting to management and executive, and providing advice
- Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.,
- Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
- Monitoring, and managing budgets
A minimum qualification of a degree and several years’ experience in the financial field and qualification in related fields is an advantage for this position.
Competitions Director
The competitions director will oversee and coordinate various tasks relating to competitions and events of SIFF and provide support to PFAs as the head of our competitions department.
The applicant is required to have education qualifications or relevant experiences of five years working in similar positions for a sporting organization. Having a good knowledge of international organizations and government agencies and familiarity with sports, especially FIFA regulations is very important.
Marketing Officer
This is a very crucial position within the Media and Marketing department who is responsible for creating new innovative revenue streams; developing leading edge brand for the federations and building strong relationships with commercial partners and sponsors. A qualification in Marketing is preferable and experience in related field is a bonus. 89
