The Henderson Eels are facing a crucial match against Tafea FC from Vanuatu on Saturday in Group A of the OFC Women’s Champions League 2024 at the Lawson Tama stadium.
The Eels’ chances of advancing to the next stage took a hit when they lost 0-3 to Hekari United in their second group match.
Head coach Godfrey Manehiaho has told reporters that the challenge ahead is a must-win situation.
He added that they are aware of the threats in attack from Tafea FC, similar to their previous opponents, but they will do their best to contain them.
Also, in Group A – leaders Hekari United will take on Avatiu FC and a win will assure them a first-class passage into the semi-finals.
