Football Management Seminar Empowers SIFF Team Leaders

The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has successfully completed a three-day seminar focused on Football Management, held at the SIFF Headquarter this week. This important training initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Dudley Langelier, Head of Member Association Services at the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), along with two esteemed experts, Chris Milnes, UEFA International Relations Programme Manager, and Layne Burgess from CORE HR.

The seminar provided in-depth modules covering crucial topics such as the World of Football, People Management, Leadership, and Planning. Its primary objective was to empower OFC member associations to enhance high performance in their respective organisations.

Notably, the Solomon Islands Football Federation was the first member association to participate in this essential training, highlighting their commitment to fostering excellence within the football community.

The participants, consisting of head department staff and team leaders at SIFF, engaged in interactive sessions that encouraged collaboration and the exchange of innovative ideas to drive the development of football in Solomon Islands and the region.

“We are thrilled to have hosted this seminar,” said SIFF CEO Leonard Paia. “The insights and skills gained from these sessions will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of football in the Solomon Islands and beyond.”
