FIFA 2025 Badge Accreditation for 8 Match Officials

This week, SIFF Referee Department proudly announced the accreditation of its eight active FIFA badge referees for the year. The referees, recognized by FIFA for their exceptional performance and dedication, have been awarded their FIFA 2025 badges.

The list of accredited referees includes two center referees, three assistant referees, two futsal referees, and one beach soccer referee. These officials were selected based on their performance evaluations from the previous year and their results in the FIFA Test. The Classification and Assessment Committee ranked each referee, with FIFA approving the allocation of badges according to the number assigned to each Member Association.

The 2025 FIFA-accredited referees from the Solomon Islands are:

  • Ben Aukwai – Centre Referee
  • Shama Maemae (female) – Centre Referee
  • Bernard Mutukera – Assistant Referee
  • Rex Kamusu – Futsal Referee
  • Philip Mana – Futsal Referee
  • Hugo Hebala – Beach Soccer Referee
  • Natalia Lumukana (female) – Assistant Referee
  • Jefferey Solodia – Assistant Referee

SIFF Referee Development Officer, Hamilton Siau, officiated the handover of the accreditations and congratulated the match officials on their achievements. “This is a testament to their hard work, professionalism, and commitment to the sport. We look forward to another busy and successful year ahead,” said Siau.

Meanwhile, some of the match officials are currently on overseas assignment when the department hands out the accredited badges this week.
