SWPL Chairman, Ronald O’Grady, said it's another milestone for women’s football development in

the country and the launch come on the back of a successful national women’s team campaign

recently.

“Women’s football has been developing exceptionally throughout the past years, resulting in the

improved performance of the national team in recent overseas competitions. We look forward to

another season of the excitement of the women’s game,” O’Grady said.

Ten football clubs from last season returned for this year’s competition – as Solrais Company

continue its support.

“It’s the fourth league, Solrais as the major sponsors continue to show commitment and It’s great to

have such a great company behind such competitions,” O’Grady said.

The SWPL Chair also expressed appreciation to other business houses who have also shown support

towards the participating clubs.

“We all look forward to the excitement, also building up towards another fantastic competition – the

2023 Pacific Games in November,” he said.

Solrais Country Manager James Bradford reiterates the company’s commitment and partnership in

developing women’s football.

“We have been involved with women’s football for four years directly. We have seen it develop

throughout the years – the effort, and commitment put into the games making it to the national

level.

“It’s a huge success! At Solrais we don’t see it as a sponsorship agreement but as a partnership that we

look forward to – the year in and year out – here for a long term,” says Bradford.

He continues acknowledging the clubs, players, and business entities who have worked behind the

the scene in seeing women’s football grow.

“Our support is a direct acknowledgment of the success of the competition. With the effort and

commitment put together we get the results – and this year we are increasing our sponsorship!
