SIFF to host extra-ordinary congress

The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) will be hosting an extra-ordinary congress on Tuesday 31st January, 2011.

The extra-ordinary congress will be held at the Commonwealth Youth Program (CYP) conference room in Honiara. More than 20 delegates from all over the country have arrived in Honiara for the meeting and final arrivals are expected by Monday.

The purpose of the extra-ordinary congress is to present activity and financial reports to the congress members and also approve SIFF’s budget for 2012. The reports that will be presented are from the 2010 reporting period.

It was also announced that the ordinary SIFF congress for 2012 will take place in May. This will be used to present activity and financial reports for 2011.

The SIFF executive committee is meeting this afternoon to finalise the papers that will be presented to congress on Tuesday.
